Italian Festa

Italian Festa this year was awesome, I loved looking at all the costumes. It makes me wonder, what is the next Italian Festa going to look like?

This year the Italian Festa was great! It was a fantastic way to learn about Italian culture. The play was extemely good as it was different, and funnier from last time, in my opinion. We had some delicious pizza and gelati and even though I didn't get to see the parade, it sounded like it was the best one yet! I also helped Signor, so I saw the decorations and it looked really cool! We should all thank Signor for setting up such a great week.

I loved the Italian Festa because I was in the “Goldilocks and the three bears and I was baby bear. I was very scared that I was going to muck up but I thought I’d be ok so I was happy with myself and that is what I liked about the Italian Festa.

If you're lucky enough to have an Italian Festa in Grade Six, you will enjoy it heaps. You're offered a lot more options such as hosting the dress up assembly, singing a separate song or dancing to a traditional Italian dance, or you could be the star in fabulous play spoken in Italian. The options are endless!!!

I think everyone should go to Italian Festa to have lots of fun. But its not just watching, you can also eat too, there's delicious pizza and rainbow gelat that everyone can enjoy.
Make sure that you take time with designing and creating your costume because when it comes round to the parade everyone gazes at you, and it makes you feel really special. Thank your parents if they made your costume as they probably used up a lot of their free time to create it.. The more creative, the better the costume. If it's really good, you might even get into the newsletters! Remember to thank your parents if they made your wonderful costume! :)

The Italian Festa is a massive blend of colors, art, history and love of culture all in a week of performances and food. The Italian Festa is a perfect mix of culture and fun which whisks the breath away from people when they view the many performances. There are professional performances performing their pieces, and some students come together to show their works to the school community. In the Italian Festa there're many different accompaniments of the Italian Festa week. Gelati and pizza are always the favorites for kids, mostly the parade is the most enjoyed, as people work long and hard to create wonderful costumes of all shapes and sizes, costumes of many different arrays of colors which bring the Festa to life is always very sought after and a wonderful feast for the eyes. As future Grade Sixes you will find yourself in more responsibility in the Italian Festa, you might find yourself in plays, performances. So, future Grade Fives and Sixes, if you might find yourself in Grade 5 or 6 with the Italian Fiesta, enjoy it, it'll be your last!

The Italian Festa is a wonderful way to get a taste of the wonderful country of Italy. From things like gelati, to pizza, and even a play performed to us, this week is truly magical. Gelati and pizza were served to all children. There were two different plays performed, one for the older kids, and one for the younger ones. Signor Giovannini has gone to so much trouble to organise this Festa, so if you find yourself in our position, never forget it.

The Italian Festa is a fantastic experience overall. Unfortunately I wasn't there this year due to state soccer :( but what I heard it was great. But in the years I've had it I've loved it. it is a great way to learn a new culture and to celebrate Italian at Laburnum. I think that we thank Signor so much for what he has done for this school and how he has set up this festa every year. Plus, its a good way to get some pizza and gelati :)
So enjoy it while it lasts!

The Italian Fiesta is a fantastic way to celebrate what a different culture it is in Italy, by dressing up as an Italian character, having some pizza and Gelati, and watching a couple of Italian plays. It's always fun.

The Italian Fiesta is filled with so many different opportunities to get involved, from the parade, to gelati and pizza. There are so many different things going on that the whole week is full of fun! There are performances by students in year 5 and 6 and if you are lucky you could be in the tarantella dance, a song, or a performance. I encourage everybody to get involved in some way, because you won't regret it!

The fiesta Is a Cool week celebrating Italian Culture. You celebrate it in different ways Like dressing up in Italian based costumes, eating Athentick Italian food. You be luck If You get italian fiesta in grade 6, because it promotes the year in making it better.

It has all the fantastic hard work from Signore and everyone participated on that week wearing italian clothes, having fun, talking in front of loads of audiences and memorize to sing with all of there grades.

Everyone had a fantastic week enjoying all the different activites that Signore planned. Remeber to say thank you to Signore when you him around.

This was my first (and only) Italian Festa. it was AWESOME!
